The "Panasonic Image App" is a powerful smartphone application that enables users to remotely control the shooting and playback functions of their Wi-Fi-compatible digital cameras and digital video cameras. It also allows for easy upload operations to various social networking service (SNS) sites.

With this application, users can conveniently watch the same live view image as displayed on their digital camera/digital video camera on their smartphone. It also provides the ability to control shooting and other camera operations using the smartphone as a wireless remote controller.

In addition, the app allows for seamless playback of still pictures and videos recorded with the digital camera/digital video camera directly on the smartphone. Users can copy these media files to their smartphones and easily upload them to SNS sites.

For users with digital cameras equipped with Bluetooth function, this app offers additional functions such as continuous connection, Wi-Fi connections, remote operation, and the option to apply location information to recorded images. It also facilitates automatic transfer of images between devices.

Furthermore, users can conveniently configure settings to automatically transfer still pictures recorded with their digital camera to their smartphone. The app even enables users to add location information acquired with their smartphone to pictures recorded using the digital camera.

Please note that certain restrictions apply depending on the specific model of your digital camera/digital video camera. For example, remote recording of videos from a smartphone is not possible with models such as DMC-SZ8/SZ9/SZ10/TZ55/TZ56/TZ57/TZ58/ZS35/ZS45. Additionally, some digital camera models like DMC-FT5/GF6/LF1/SZ8/SZ9/SZ10/TS5/TZ37/TZ40/TZ41/TZ55/TZ56/TZ57/TZ58/ZS27/ZS30/ZS35/ZS45 only support playback of still pictures.

This application is compatible with iOS versions 9.3 to 16. Please note that the Bluetooth function requires a smartphone with Bluetooth 4.0 and above, utilizing Bluetooth low energy technology.

There are a few important notes to consider as well. For example, devices like the iPod touch or the Wi-Fi version of the iPad without a GPS sensor cannot acquire high accuracy location information for recording. Additionally, continued use of GPS function on an iPhone or iPad with a GPS sensor can significantly drain battery capacity.

In order to use the SNS upload functions or the Cloud Sync Service, users must first obtain a service user ID for Panasonic's LUMIX CLUB (free of charge). It is important to be aware that continued use of GPS and Bluetooth running in the background can have a significant impact on battery life.

Lastly, please note that certain functions have been removed in later versions of the app, including image transfer to an AV device, image deletion, Home Monitor, and Baby Monitor functionalities.
